Update

Hello Friends!

I haven't posted a blog in quite a while. There are various reasons, ranging from laziness to business. But here I am giving you a little end of the school year update.

So I am finishing up my first year at UCSB and it really is surreal. Time flew by faster than I had expected and, though I am glad that I am 1 year closer to graduating and getting the hell out of school, I also realize how short of a stay that I have here and how short of a window I have to build networks and create marketability and oppotunities for my future.
From this point, all that I need to do before I go home is take 1 more final on Tuesday, pack my belongings, take care of responsibilities at work, and get fucked up.

Anyway, I look forward to going back home to LA and enjoying my summer. A few plans and goals that will take my time will be Summer school at GCC, daily bike rides to and from school, a trip to Hawaii, and celebrating my 1st year anniversary <3. I will also need to do research on studying abroad, which I will do if I decide to stay at UCSB for an additional year for a second major.

The Cove!

So I know that I haven't blogged too much lately. I don't what its been to be honest. I haven't been super busy, though I have had my share of things to take care of. I think perhaps because nothing really really interesting has happened to me lately. I've been sleeping a lot because my sleeping schedule has been really off. To add to it, I have some really horrible allergies... Maybe the anti-histimenes are making me drowsy...
Anyway:

The Cove is a film that started with a film crew's curiosity as to where Sea World dolphins and animals came from. What they discovered was something way more shady and dangerous. Please look at the "What I Can Do?" link on The Cove's website to see what you can do to help. You'll be surprised to know that we've all been contributing to the destruction of several species just by eating what we would normally eat. I don't really have much more to say about this, but check out the site!
